These technologies will further support the production of recyclable packaging for food, home and personal care applications.
The company expects the construction of the facility to be completed by July 2027.

On June 29, Amcor announced a partnership with Kelpi to develop advanced coating technologies that will boost the company’s performance and sustainability of packaging materials. Kelpi’s proprietary coating technology platform, which is a bio-based seaweed material designed to deliver high barrier performance. It is also compatible with recycling streams for fiber-based packaging.
